I'll Always Be There - 18

Chapter 58

Laura walked up to Wyndemere, her anger clear in every step she
took. She had never been so angry with anyone in her life. To know that she
had trusted this man with her son's life and that he had then tried to kill
him, made her blood boil. She had never in her life felt such hatred,
except for what she had felt for Helena and Stavros. She knocked loudly on
the front door, which was opened by Mrs. Landsbury. "Is Stefan here?" she
asked her anger showing in her tone.

"In the living room. Is something the matter?"

"Nothing that you need to worry about," Laura said, smiling
slightly at the motherly woman. "I'll just go in, if you don't mind."

Mrs. Landsbury nodded and stepped aside and Laura walked
purposefully to to living room. Stefan was sitting at the table, and
Katherine was seated on the couch. Stefan and Katherine were married and
Katherine was in her third trimester of pregnancy.

Stefan jumped to his feet as Laura entered the room, and Katherine
glared at her from her place on the sofa. "Laura! What's the matter? Is
Nikolas okay?"

Laura couldn't control herself after hearing him ask about Nikolas
liked he actually cared. Before she even knew what was happening her hand
came up and she slapped him across the face with all the strength that she
had in her. "You bastard! How dare you ask about him as if you actually
care? As if you wouldn't celebrate if he died? I know all about you now
Stefan, and I can't believe that I trusted you with my son's life all these
years!"

"What are you talking about?" Stefan asked, his eyes narrowing as
he brought a hand to his face. It was all he could do to keep from hitting
her back.

"I'm talking about the shootout at Luke's. I'm talking about trying
to kill my son! That's what I'm talking about!"

"I didn't try to kill Nikolas!" Stefan said. "He's like a son to me!"

"You know what? I always thought that he was your son. I thought
that you knew that and that you would keep him safe. You promised me that
you would keep him safe! Now I know that that was all a lie. I talked to
Alexis, and I know. I know that you killed Stavros. I know that you were
plotting to kill Alec, Alexis' son. I know that you were the one that had
Nikolas shot. I know this, because I trust Alexis much more than I could
possibly trust you! Just admit it Stefan. Admit it!"

Stefan stared at her. He loved her so much, yet he hated her. "Yes,
Lasha. I did it. I did all of those things. I knew all along that you
thought that I was Nikolas' father. It served my purposes. I knew that
Helena would use that information on you. Everyone knows that Stavros was
mother's favorite, they just didn't know the real reason why. She hated me
because I was a threat, whereas Stavros would just follow her blindly.
Nikolas is Stavros' son. Helena just switched the records to say that I was
in order to hold it over you. I knew that and I did nothing, because I hate
your son Lasha. I hate Nikolas because he's your son. Yours and Stavros'!
He was always a thorn in my side, but I didn't dare to kill him, because I
knew that you could convince that awful husband of yours to avenge a dead
Cassadine son, even if you couldn't get him to accept a live one, so I
waited. I waited until he started to move away from the ways of the island.
When I pushed him off the mountain in Switzerland, I knew that it was him,
but Luke just had to save him. Then the shootout at Luke's. It was so
perfect! It was a well known fact that Jason Morgan was going to be there.
All I had to do was hire a few thugs and make it look like a hit on Morgan.
But your husband just had to save him again. Why? Why would Luke bother to
save the life of a boy that he hated?"

"Because beyond everything else, Luke loves me," Laura said,
staring at the man in front of her that was now a stranger. "He loves me,
and all the things that are part of me." She shook her head. "Are you
framing Lucky for murder too, or is it enough for you to try and kill
Nikolas?"

"Why would I bother with Lucky? The little brat isn't worth a
second thought. I wouldn't go through the trouble of framing him with
anything."

Laura studied him carefully and decided that it was most likely
that he hadn't framed Lucky. She stared at the man in front of her and was
hit by the irony of the situation. "It all seems so pointless now. The
things that you did, the things that I did to keep Nikolas' parentage a
secret."

"What do you mean?" Stefan said.

Laura just continued talking, more to herself than to the man in
front of her. "I trusted you to protect him, when all along you planned to
kill him. I can't believe it but I believe that Nikolas actually would have
been safer with Helena and Stavros." She glared at him, her hatred shining
in her eyes. "You're worse than them. You made me trust you! I trusted you
with my child, my blood and you betrayed me. The funny thing is that
Nikolas isn't even a Cassadine." Stefan started in surprise. "That's right
Stefan. Alexis switched the test's. Luke is Nikolas' father. You could have
taken over for good without killing anyone, after all you're the rightful
heir. So take your place at the head of the family, and then join them, in
Hell!"

        "You're lying!" Stefan said.

"No, I'm not. Nikolas is a Spencer. My advice to you is to stay
away from me and stay away from my family. Luke's in shock right now, but
when he come's to grips with the fact that Nikolas is his son and that you
tried to kill Nikolas, he's going to come after you, and this time, I won't
even try to stop him. Oh and if I learn that you had anything to do with
what's happening to Lucky, I'll come after you! Is that understood?" Stefan
nodded, unable to do anything else. "Good!" Laura said and she left.

Nikolas was Luke's son! He couldn't believe it! It made him wish
even more that he had been able to kill Nikolas. Now was not the time for
that though. They had to get out of the country as soon as possible. He
didn't want to be around when Luke realized that it was *his* son that
Stefan had tried to kill. He turned to Katherine, who had stood and was now
staring at him in disbelief. "Pack some things. We leave for Greece
immediately!"

"You tried to kill Nikolas?" Katherine said.

"That doesn't concern us," Stefan said. Katherine stared at him.
she couldn't believe that the man who was standing in front of her now, was
the man that she loved!

"It doesn't concern us? I love Nikolas, even if you don't! I'm not
going to Greece with you. I'm not going anywhere with you!"

"Oh yes you are," Stefan said. He hit a button and a number of men
entered the room. One of whom was vaguely familiar to Katherine "Ari, take
Mrs. Cassadine to our room, and help her pack. Make sure that you're ready
to leave in an hour. We don't want to be here when Luke arrives." Ari
nodded and gently lead Katherine out of the room, the other men surrounding
her to make sure she went. She let herself be lead, knowing that there was
no way she could escape. She was going to Greece whether she liked it or
not.

Stefan called to get the jet ready for his return to Greece, and
made arrangements for the their things to be packed and sent to Greece,
leaving only what belonged to Nikolas behind. They would not return to Port
Charles, well at least not for a very long time. They left that night
without a word to anyone, leaving only Mrs. Landsbury behind. (It was the
strangest thing. They couldn't find her anywhere. Stefan was unaware of her
penchant for eavesdropping, but had he realized this it would have
explained all. Mrs. Landsbury was loyal to Nikolas above all others) Luke
would have been happy to hear about them leaving if he hadn't been so
involved in finding his son...son's, and awaiting the arrival of the
daughter that he had never met.

*ALEXIS' ROOM*

Taggert had finished questioning Alec, and left Alexis' room. Luke
had left the room and was walking down the hall when he ran into Audrey. "I
was told that you and Laura were here," She said pleasantly. "Wait, where's
Laura?"

"She had some things to do," Luke said. "Are you back for good?" He
asked thinking about how he was going to have to tell her that Lizzie had
taken off for parts unknown with his son...son's and Emily. Damn, he was
going to have to tell the Q's too. That wouldn't be much fun. He could hear
Edward now.

"Yes," Audrey said. "Sarah is much better, well on her way to
recovery. She should be back to normal before we know it." (Don't get too
worried. She's never going to be back to normal. She'll be much, much,
much, more interesting in the future, at least I hope so, cause that's what
I'm working on:-)

"That's great...um..." Luke wasn't sure what to say next.

"I was wondering if you could tell me where Elizabeth is. I tried
her at your house, but no one was home. I called Bobbie and she told me
that Alexis had woken up and that you and Laura would be here visiting her."

"Audrey, I think that you should sit down," Luke said, kindly,
sitting her down in a chair.

"What is it, Luke? What happened?" Audrey asked terrified.

"Sorry Audrey," Luke said. "The kids have flown the coop."

        "WHAT!?" Audrey said.

"They let Murty out on a technicality, and well, Murty's dead,"
Luke said. Audrey stared at him in shock. "Oh, it gets worse, Lucky's
fingerprints are all over that damn house, and he's the only suspect! The
kids didn't want to stick around while Lucky was framed for a murder that
he didn't commit so they took off for parts unknown. We're working on it,
but I don't see us finding them anytime soon. Lucky's a master at
disappearing."

"Oh, god!" Audrey said. "What am I going to tell her parents? I
finally get a hold of them and they're coming home, and then I find out
that I'll have to tell them that they're youngest daughter is on the run
somewhere with three other teenagers!"

"Damn, her parents are coming? Just what we need! Audrey, you're
going to hear this soon so it might as well be from me, it turns out that
Nikolas is my son, not Stefan or Stavros'. We just found out today, like we
just learned that Nikolas' twin sister is still alive and is on her way to
Port Charles soon. Someone's trying to frame Lucky for murder and it turns
out that Stefan's been trying to kill Nikolas for years. We're in the
middle of a crisis at the moment and I don't really know how to handle it.
All I know is that I'm going to have a hard time dealing with the Q's and
your family when my entire life is changing, not to mention the fact that
my son's are somewhere out there too, and I'm about to meet a daughter that
I never knew existed! I hope that you don't take this the wrong way, but I
have absolutely no advice to give you on how to handle Lizzie's parents,
other than that the truth is the best bet. One thing you can learn from my
families problems, lies are bad things. They have a way of eating you
alive!"

"My god," Audrey said. "Don't worry, I'll handle her parents. They
know how stubborn she is, and when I tell them how much she and Lucky care
for each other, I'm sure...I'm sure they'll understand." Audrey didn't
sound too convinced, but Luke was satisfied with that answer. They Q's,
well they would be a totally different story!

Chapter Fifty Nine

Nikolas and Kelsey arrived back at Kelsey's house to find a very
worried group of teens waiting for them. The group relaxed visibly when the
two rode up showing no signs of physical damage. "I guess Thunder didn't
throw you, huh, Nik?" Lucky said after Nikolas and Kelsey had dismounted
and joined the others.

"No, but then, we had a deal," Nikolas said jokingly.

"You made a deal with a horse?" Lucky asked with a laugh. He loved
it when Nik loosened up enough to joke. He still had a stiffness about him
now and then, but his carefree moments were becoming more frequent.

"Sure. It was very simple. I promised that I would give him an
apple, if he didn't embarrass me. It worked out very nicely for both if us,
well that is if Kelsey has any apples," he said looking at her
questioningly.

"Sure," Kelsey said. "They're in the pantry. I'll show you." The
others noticed the tension between them, but figured that it had more to do
with Nikolas having been the one that intruded on her sadness than anything
else. They headed into the living room, while Kelsey and Nikolas got the
apples for Thunder and Lightning. Once the horses had gotten their treats,
they joined the others in the living room. It was only a moment later that
Darcy returned from dropping off the boys. She had a couple of suitcases
with her and it looked like she was moving in for good.

"Just how long are you staying?" Sly said. "Did you tell your
parents that you're never coming back?"

"Ha ha. No, but I'm not going back for as long as possible." She
was relieved to see that Kelsey was back and went over to give her a hug.
She held her close and whispered, "Are you okay?"

        Kelsey nodded, "I'm okay."

        "You sure?"

        "Yeah."

"Good." Darcy let her go. "I'll come to your room later tonight and
we'll talk, okay?"

        "Sure."

Darcy turned to Nikolas. "I see that you survived the ride on
Thunder. I'm impressed. He's not as accepting of strangers as Lightning is."

"Okay I can't help but ask," Emily said. "Why Thunder and
Lightning? I mean, that's not very, I don't know, imaginative."

"Timmy named them," Kelsey said. "When we first got them."

"Oh," Emily said, feeling bad about the question.

"No, don't worry about it," Kelsey said, realizing that. "You
couldn't have known. Timmy loved storms."

"He's the only kid that I've ever known that actually loved thunder
and lightning." Darcy said. "Do you remember how he used to shriek with joy
when one started?"

Kelsey laughed and nodded. "Yeah, we'd all come running and find
him sitting on his floor watching through the window. He loved the rumble
of the thunder and then the flash of light." Her eyes were sad, even as she
smiled at the bittersweet memories. "He'd get so excited. As long as there
was a storm going on, you couldn't get him to do anything else. God, I miss
him." No one knew what to say, so there was silence for a while. "Hey,
enough depressing stuff," Kelsey said. "Back to the practical. I'm sure
that you lost a lot of stuff in the crash. Do you have anything?"

Lucky shook his head. They had lost everything in the crash, except
for what they had on, and the money that Nikolas had withdrawn from his
bank account before coming. "That's easily solved though. We just need the
nearest department store and we'll go shopping. It shouldn't take us that
long."

"Well, let's see, the nearest shopping center, I guess that that
would be Ellsworth in order for you to get everything that you need."

"Great, how far away is it?" Elizabeth said.

"Oh, about 45 minutes, give or take a few, depending on traffic."

        "That's the closest?"

"Well, downtown Blue Hill doesn't have much beyond a pharmacy, and
they don't have cloths. We'll take you to Ellsworth, get what you need and
then you can spend the rest of the day relaxing." They all piled into the
van, and headed off to Ellsworth. They bought everything that they needed
and were about to leave the mall when Lucky pulled Nikolas into an
electronics store. He grabbed a couple of things and convinced Nikolas that
he should pay for them. He had talked to Kelsey earlier to make sure that
she had a computer with internet access, and he promised that he'd explain
everything when they got back to the house.

They arrived back at the house in the early afternoon. Kelsey
finished showing everybody around, and then left them all to get cleaned up
while she and Darcy threw something together for a meal of sorts. Sly went
back to his apartment to get the things that he would need to stay at
Kelsey's for a while. They all rejoined in the kitchen and ate, then they
went into the living room. Kelsey showed Lucky her computer and using the
things that he had bought in the electronics store and the computer he set
up the phone so that he could call home without the call being traced, or
even if it were traced, it wouldn't be traced correctly. (I'm not sure how
things like this work, but I'm totally convinced that Lucky could figure
something out:-)

He had everything hooked up and then he looked at his friends, each
in turn. "I have to tell them that I didn't do it. Even if they already
believe that I didn't do it, I have to say it to them. Do you understand? I
also want to give them a way to contact us, if it's necessary. I mean who
knows when everything is going to be cleared up. I want to know as soon as
it happens." The others nodded. . Lucky turned to Sly, Kelsey and Darcy. "I
guess that you should know that the reason that we're here is that the cops
back home think that I killed someone. I didn't. I'm not denying the fact
that I wanted him dead, or that I'm happy that he's dead, but I didn't kill
him."

"A murder suspect?" Darcy said. "Cool!"

"Wait," Sly said. "Who do they think you killed?"

        "Mr. Murty," Lucky said.

"You mean the English teacher? Why would you want to kill him?"

"It's a long story," Lucky said. "I'll tell you more about it in a
little while. Right now I want to see what's happening at home." Sly
nodded. Lucky looked at Kelsey who had been silent. "If you're
uncomfortable with this..." He stopped as Kelsey shook her head.

"You don't look like a killer to me. I'll trust you for now, but if
I start noticing homicidal tendencies in you, I reserve the right to kick
you out," she said with a smile.

"Works for me," Lucky said smiling back at her. "Okay," he said.
"Here goes nothing." He picked up the phone and called home. His father
answered the phone.

        "Hello, Spencer here."

        "Hey, Dad," Lucky said.

        "Lucky! Are you all right?"

"I'm fine dad. I just wanted to check in."

"Did you run a scramble before you made the call? The police are
looking for you, and they're sure to check our phone records."

"Of course, dad. I know what I'm doing. I guess you don't think
that it would be a good idea for me to come home right now, huh?"

"Someone's railroading you, Cowboy. You've been successfully framed
for Murty's murder. The gun that was used was registered to me. It's not
one of mine though. Taggert was at the hospital asking questions, but it
didn't sound like he bought that you had done it, so I don't think that
he'll let this go without investigating it further. I never thought that
I'd say this, but he'll be fair."

"Well that's one good thing. I just wanted to be able to tell you
that I didn't do it. I didn't do it, dad."

        "I know that, Cowboy."

"Is mom there? How's she handling this?"

"Let me call her. Laura! Come here!" Lucky could hear his mother's
voice in the background.

        "What is it? What's wrong?"

        "Lucky's on the phone."

"Lucky! Let me talk to him." Luke handed her the phone. "Lucky?"

        "Hey Mom. Are you okay."

"I am now that I can hear your voice. Is Nikolas there? Is he okay?
Are the girls okay?"

"Everyone's fine, Mom. I'll let you talk to Nik in a minute."

Laura let out a breath of relief. "Lucky, tell Lizzie that her
grandmother and Sarah are back, and that Sarah's doing really well. Oh,
and...well, her parents are on their way to Port Charles."

"Her parents? Geez, they're going to hate me!"

        "My parents?" Lizzie questioned, shocked.

Lucky nodded. "They're on their way to Port Charles, oh and your
grandmother and Sarah are home. Mom says that Sarah's doing well."

Lizzie was glad to hear about her sister's recovery, but she was
worried about the fact that her parents were on their way. The fact that
they were coming was amazing in itself. They never seemed to be able to see
beyond whatever cause happened to be holding their attention. She had just
never seemed to be able to hold their attention. She'd do something and
they'd question why she wasn't more like Sarah and that would be about it.
Sarah, that was it. Sarah was sick, so of course they would come. They
wouldn't have come just for her, even if they had known about the rape. She
hoped that Sarah and Gram would keep quiet about that. She really didn't
want her parents to find out about it, especially from someone else.

Lucky watched emotions play across Lizzie face and wondered what
she was thinking. He gave himself a mental shake. He could ask her later.
He went back to his conversation with his mother. "How are Alec and Alexis?"

"They're fine. Alexis had a lot to tell us though. Is there any way
that I can talk to both of you at once? There are things that we need to
tell both of you."

"I think so." Lucky turned to Kelsey. "Is there a portable or
something so that Nik could get on the line with me?"

Kelsey nodded and ran to get it. Laura told Luke to get on another
phone. When everyone was on a line and they could all talk to each other,
Laura started.

"A lot of things have changed in the short time that you've been
gone. We talked to Alexis and we learned a lot of things about Stefan,
Nadia and your parentage Nikolas, that we never realized before. Nikolas,
Lucky...Nadia is still alive."

        "What!?" Nikolas said.

"She's on her way to Port Charles as we speak. Alexis saved her
life and hid her from Helena for years. I finally get to see my baby girl,
after all these years." The boys could tell that Laura was struggling to
hold back her tears. "But that's not all that Alexis did. She was the first
one on the island to get to the paternity results. She changed
them...because they showed that Luke is your father, Nikolas. You're not a
Cassadine, you're a Spencer." Nikolas sat down hard in the nearest chair
and looked over at Lucky, who was staring at him wide-eyed. Full brother's?
This was something that they had never expected. Nikolas not a Cassadine.
He couldn't fathom it.

"Does my, unc...Does Stefan know?" Nikolas asked.

"He left for Greece right after I told him," Laura said unable to
keep the venom out of her voice.

"Wh...what?" Nikolas, asked sounding like a small boy. His pain was
evident in his tone.

"Oh Nikolas," Laura said, crying at the sound of his confusion and
pain. "I wish I could tell you that he loved you, and would always love
you, but I can't. I can't do that. Nikolas, he hated me so much. It had
nothing to do with you. He hated me, and he hated Stavros, so he just
transferred that hatred onto you. It was nothing that you had done. I
promise you that."

"But he had to have loved me, Mom. All those years, he was the only
person that I had. He was all that I had. How can this be. Why do you say
that he didn't love me Mom?" Nikolas asked fearfully.

"Oh, baby, he...he...I can't even say it." Laura couldn't speak
through her tears.

        "Luke?" Nikolas asked, pleadingly.

"He...uh...He hired the people who shot you at the club."

Nikolas was speechless, but Lucky shouted, "What!?!? Why the hell
would he do that?" Lucky looked at Nikolas. How would he handle the news
that the man that he had loved as a father had tried to kill him? It was as
hard as realizing that a man that he had hated for years was actually his
father. Lucky could see the pain on Nikolas' face and the tears welling up
in his eyes. He had never hated Stefan as much as he did at that moment.

"Power, Cowboy. I don't understand it. Heck, I've accused the Bat
of a lot of things, but even I wouldn't have thought that he would do
something like this. He wasn't what he seemed like, Nikolas. I wish that he
was. I wish that he was the man that your mother trusted with you for all
those years, but he's not. I know that none of this makes you feel any
better, but you have to believe that there are people who love you." Lucky
and Nikolas could hear the pain in Luke's voice. Luke cleared his throat
and continued. "Your mother would do anything in the world for you, and so
would I. I know that I've shown you the worst side of me, but I hope that
you realize that I had come to care about you as Laura's son, even before I
learned you were mine as well. I love you not because you're my son, but
because of who you are. I might not have been able to consciously see
beyond the Cassadine name, but I knew deep inside that I cared about you
more than I ever thought I would be able to admit." Nikolas closed his eyes
as the man he thought would always hate him, said everything he could think
of to comfort him. This was his father! "When you and the Cowboy get back
here, we're going to be a family, and I mean that. You *will* have a family
Nikolas, and you'll never have to depend on a single person for everything
ever again. You two take care of each other, and tell Sly that he had
better send you back in one piece. Talk to your mother." The end of his
speech was rushed, but Nikolas and Lucky both heard the tears in Luke's
voice and knew the reason that he stopped so abruptly.

"Nikolas, I love you," Laura said. "I love you two so much, and I
want you home right now, but I know that that isn't the best idea right
now, but as soon as this is over you're coming home. Both of you are going
to be home with me for the first time, and I want that more than anything.
You take care of each other."

"I love you, Mom," Nikolas said, letting the phone drop out of his
hand. Lucky looked at him, sympathy shining in his eyes.

"Mom," Lucky said. "If you need to get in touch with us, email me
at my regular address and I'll check it every four hours, okay?"

"Okay. Lucky, take care of him okay. His entire world just fell
apart..."

"I know, Mom," Lucky said. "Don't worry about it. I'll take care of
him. He'll be okay. We'll get through this. I love you. Give Lu and hug and
a kiss from both of us. Tell Dad that I'm proud of him, and that I love
him, okay?"

"I will," Laura said, tearing up at how grown up he sounded. He had
gotten beyond his problems with his father and was willing to admit that he
still loved him and was proud of him. "Goodbye, Lucky. I love you."

"Bye, mom." Lucky hung up the phone, and turned to Nikolas. "Nik,
I'm so sorry. I can't believe that he'd do something like that, and *I*
hate him."

Nikolas couldn't hold his tears back any longer. "I can, and I love
him." He buried his face in his hands. "I can."

Lucky noticed the inquisitive looks on everyone's faces. "Alexis
had a few earth shattering revelations to deliver when she woke up.
Nikolas' twin, Nadia...She's still alive." Lizzie and Emily looked at each
other in surprise. "That's not all. It turns out that, well, Nikolas isn't
a Cassadine, he's a Spencer. Alexis changed the paternity results because
she didn't want him to be killed." Lucky looked at Nikolas. "The worst
thing is that, well, Stefan always knew that he wasn't Nikolas' father, he
thought that Stavros was, so it turns out that Stefan...Stefan..." Lucky
couldn't say it. He felt that it would only hurt his brother more. Nikolas
said it.

"He hated me all those years," Nikolas said, his face still in his
hands. "And he tried to have me killed. Wonderful, huh? I finally
understand Luke's paranoia about Cassadine's. I guess it's a good thing
that I'm not a Cassadine anymore, though, because I finally understand why
everyone hates them so much." He raised his head and looked at the people
around him. "*I* HATE THEM! I wish that none of this had ever happened. I
wish that Stavros had never fallen for Mom. I wish that they had left her
with Luke. I wish that I could have grown up loving my parents, instead of
hating them. Instead of having them hate me!"

"Wait a minute, Nikolas," Lucky said. "Mom NEVER hated you, and
Dad? Dad only thought he did. If he really had, he wouldn't have saved your
life those times that Stefan tried to kill you. There's nothing between you
and the family now. I know that you may never feel like you're a Spencer,
but you are, and from now on you're going to be treated like one! I know
that you saw Dad start to care for you in all those months after Helena
died, and he can love you now without his fear that you're like all the
other Cassadine's, because you're not even related to them. He knows that
you're not like them now and that there's no chance that your gene's will
spontaneously transform you into another Mikkos or Stavros. You just have
to remember that he never hated you, Nikolas. He hated Stavros, he hated
Mikkos, he hated Helena and he hate's Stefan. Not you! He was afraid of
you. Afraid of what your presence meant, about him and Mom. He was afraid
of who you might be. Of who you might be like so he refused to try to get
to know you, because he was afraid of what he might see. When he finally
looked, he saw what I see. He saw Mom. He saw Lu. He might even have seen
himself. I see him, Nikolas. It's not a bad thing you know. It's okay to
like him. It's even okay to be happy that he's your father, and the man
that tried to have you killed isn't. Look at it that way."

"I'll try Lucky, but I just can't process all of this right now. It
seems so unbelievable. I...I just don't know what to say. I don't know what
to feel, what to think. My entire life has been a lie! How do I live with
that? How do I accept that? I can't believe that everything that I ever
counted on was a lie. IŠIŠ" Nikolas broke down into sobs once more, unable
to go on. No one said anything. What could they say?
