Situation:  It's the day after the V-day dance.  Liz wasn't raped but instead
she got home safe.  Lucky searched for her all night. Sarah decided that night
to leave for Europe so in my story she's already gone because I don't really
like her. Okay now time to read my story.  Thanks!  Please reply.

Liz lay snugly in her bed dreaming of dancing with Lucky, her prince charming.
The doorbell rang repeatedly but nothing could get her out of this wonderful
dream.  Suddenly something began to shake her and wake her up.  She moaned
with disappointment and tried to swat them away but they kept on persisting
she wake up so she finally did and found herself looking into deep piercing
blue eyes.

"Lucky?" Liz said woozy from sleep still and covering her eyes from the sun.

"Liz, man good thing your safe.  I've been looking for you all night." Lucky
sighed with relief.

"What are you doing here?" Liz asked propping herself up in bed.

"Well, last night I got worried. I mean you didn't meet me at the dance and I
ran into Chad at Kelly's-"

"You you talked to Chad?"

"Yeah I did and he said he never heard of you so I got Deanie to give your
sister a ride to her house and I went looking for you."

Liz got up from the bed forgetting she was just wearing a T-shirt and glared
on the floor avoiding Lucky's eyes.  Hoping that he would just leave this
whole mess be and never speak of it again but knowing Lucky he would

"So why did you lie to me Liz?  I think I deserve to know."

"I guess I just didn't want you to feel obligated to meet me.  Kind of the
third wheel thing okay."

Lucky then suddenly noticed she was only wearing a T-shirt and he cleared his
throat.  This crinkled her brow in confusion and suddenly realized what she
was wearing.

"Umm could you turn around a sec please."

Lucky walked over to the door with his backed faced to Liz.  Liz had left her
dress hanging from the door.  Its bright red color caught Lucky's eyes.  He
suddenly felt guilty and he didn't even know why.

"Liz must have looked great in that dress," he thought.

Meanwhile Liz was changing into a gray drawstring skirt and big knee length
boots.  While she was zipping up her tube top she couldn't quite get her arms
to reach so she could.  Lucky looked in her vanity mirror and came to her aid.

"Thanks."

"No problem.  Getting back to our conversation, I don't think you could ever
be a third wheel.  Granted sometimes your a brat your the life of the party
Liz."

"A compliment and an insult I don't know whether to strangle you or or-"

"Or what?"

"Shut-up Spencer.  Anyway thanks for looking for me but as you can see I'm
fine."

"I can see that."

"So..."

"So..."

"I know your dying to ask me where I was."

"No, I'm not." She shoots him this I don't think so look.  "Okay maybe just a
little curious as to where you were."

"Out."

"That's it?  You were out."

"Well, yeah.  What more do you need to know?"

"Well, if a guy spends all night looking for you the least you could do is
give him an explanation."

"Well, you didn't need to look for me in the first place."

"What's up with you.  Every time I ask for the truth you give me and witty
comment and put up this wall."

"I'm witty?  Thanks that means a lot."

"Liz..."

"Lucky..."

"Elizabeth."

"What!?!  What can I say that'll make you satisfied?"

"The truth maybe.  It seems like a viable option."

"Lucky I don't owe you anything so if you don't mind I have to work today."

"There goes that wall again.  In my view you do owe me."

"Look stay out of my business and stay out of my life.  I can take care of
myself.  I don't need someone looking after me."

"Come on Liz.  What if something happened?  Something horrible.  Are you
telling me you wouldn't need anyone?"

"Certainly not a handsome Prince. I'm fine on my own but if you must know I
went to the movies okay?"

"That's all I wanted to hear.  Thank you."

"So were you really looking for me all night?"

"Yeah.  I came here first and no one was home.  Then I tried Kelly's, the
docks, the pier, the carnival.  You name it I was there."

Liz was in total awe.  The boy of her dreams was up all night searching across
town for her.  Even better he didn't even take Sarah home he just picked up
his things to find her.  She didn't notice but she was staring at him.

"Liz, earth to Liz come in Liz."

"What?"

"Do I have something on my face because you were looking at me funny?"

"Actually you have some dirt right there let me get it for you."

Liz brought her thumb up to his check and felt a blast of electricity.  Lucky
felt it too.  She rubbed his check as he tilted his head to be closer to her
hand.

"All better," she whispered not taking her hand off his check quite yet.  He
brought his hand up and laced his fingers with hers.

"Thanks," he said.

Before they knew it they were stepping closer and closer to each other and
Lucky was leaning down and...

Read Chapter One to understand. E-mail me for Chapter one if you want to read
it or if this is on the PCOFanfic thing then it is down in the replies. By the
way Liz and Nik are pals.

Before they knew it they were stepping closer and closer to each other and
Lucky was leaning down and...
Gatsby the cat came purring through them.

''Hey Gatsby,'' said Lucky sweetly as he bent down to pick him up.

''Why does that darn cat have to come in whenever I'm having fun?'' Elizabeth
thought. ''I'm going to have to kill the cat.''

''That cat is going to be neutered,'' Liz smirked.

''What did you say?'' asked Lucky.

''Nothing,'' said Liz.

Lucky whispered into the animal's ear thank you. Even though he thinks Liz is
great and all he's getting over Sarah currently.

''Well, I have to go to work,'' said Liz.

''Oh work, okay. Do you want some company?'' asked Lucky.

''Only if you want to I mean I don't want you to feel obligated but it would
be nice to have a handsome prince walk me to work.''

''You really know how to suck up you know that.''

''That's what they tell me. You know you got a mouth on you too.''

''Really!?! I never thought so.''

''Whatever Lucky!'' She playfully hit him and he grabbed her wrist. They had a
moment of sexual tension and he let go.

''So you ready to go?'' asked Lucky.

''Sure,'' Liz whispered still reeling from their almost kiss.

Liz and Lucky walk in silence out of Liz's house and towards Kellys.

''So, Liz what are your classes besides the one with Murty?'' asked Lucky not
knowing what to say.

''Do I look as boring as Sarah?'' asked Liz wondering why Lucky would be
asking such a strange question.

''No, you look way better than Sarah,'' Lucky THOUGHT.
''Sorry, I kind of forgot which Webber I was talking to,'' said Lucky.

''You know Lucky it's okay. You can talk to me like you talked to Sarah. It's
not a big deal or anything. Your my only friend, well besides Nik,'' Liz said.

''Nik who?'' questioned Lucky hoping she didn't mean his brother.

''Your brother,'' said Liz.

''Don't call him that,'' Lucky said.

''What, call him what? Nik? I know he doesn't like it but he lets me call him
that so I don't see the pro-''

''No, I mean my brother. He's not my brother more like my mother's forgotten
son.''

''Nice attitude Spencer. No wonder Sarah left for Europe after going on a date
with you,'' Liz teased.

''You are such a brat,'' Lucky stated.

''But that's what everyone loves about me,'' said Liz as she quickly swayed
her hips past Lucky to go insides Kellys. He was right behind her and managed
to open the door for her.

''Why what chivalry. I didn't know that did that anymore,'' Liz said.

''Well, you know us Spencers have to look out for the ladies,'' Lucky smiled.
''By the way what did you mean back there when you said my attitude landed
Sarah to Europe?''

''Didn't you know? She left last night for Europe. My parents wanted us both
to go but I don't think I've done enought damage here yet.''

Lucky laughed and gazed into her blue eyes. He was drawn to them like me to
General Hospital.

''I knew she left but I mean did she say anything about our date that we
had?''

''No, not really I was kind of asleep when she left. Why was it such a magical
evening for you?''

''Not really, all she could do was go on about the Dark Prince.''

''You mean your mother's forgotten son right?''

''You just keep those comeback's coming Webber or I'll just have to-''

''Have to what?''

''Do this.''

He started to tickle her and she landed on the floor in a fit of giggles.

Liz managed a word in her or there in between laughs.

''Stop it Lucky, stop that tickles.''

''That's kind of the point Liz.''

She trips (oh by the way they are behind the counter) and falls on her back
laughing her head off. He stumbles on top of her and stops to tickle her. He
whips a whisp of hair out of her face.

''I'm done with my fun,'' he whispers.

''Get off my help. If you want to help grab an apron,'' yelled Ruby.

Liz and Lucky laugh. He helps her up.

''Sorry Ruby I should really take a shower and change out of these clothes,''
Lucky said.

''Your leaving?'' asked Liz innocently.

''I'll be back in 15. If your lucky I just might help you out,'' said Lucky
while heading out.

''I hope I get 'lucky','' Liz said as she watched Lucky walk out.

More Author Notes.  Nik never went to school with them.  He and Lucky are okay
civil but not really civil.  He and Liz are really good friends but just
friends nothing more.  P.S. no offense to people named Prudence I just thought
Liz might not like the name.

Lucky stepped into the shower and absorbed the heat of the water.

"Spencer, you almost lost your cool back there, just uuuuugggggghhhhhhhhhh.
That is just Elizabeth Webber no one special she just looks different.  It's
just b/c her sister is gone Spnecer you think she's so beautiful with her hair
in curls with her beautiful pale skin.  She's looked like such a peaceful
angel this morning.  Weird or what, me calling Elizabeth a peasceful angel she
is anything but that.  Well, Deanie's having a party tonight maybe I'll invite
her."  Lucky thought.

He hurridly finished his shower and quickly changed.

At the same time...

"Hey Liz!"

"Nik!"  Liz said.  She ran up to him and gave him a big hug!

"So how was the dance?"

"I kind of didn't go."

"What!?!  I thought you and Lucky."

"There is no me and Lucky.  He's just a friend.  Besides he's  still into my
sister.  She can mess up my life from across the globe."

"I heard she left.  Must have been my brother."

"No more stalker, good news for you."

Nik laughs.

"Cheer up!  It's Valentine's Day Liz.  Come on I have a great idea.  Let's go
to Deanie's Party together."

Liz answered, "Sounds like fun."

"Great.  I'll pick you up around 7 and I garuentee by the end of the night
you'll be like Lucky who?"

"Thanks so much Nik."

"You know your the only one I let get away with calling me Nik."

"Would you rather be called Nikky?"

"Nik is fine Elizabeth Prudnece Webber."

"You dare say that."

"I just did.  I have one condition though, don't tell anyone I'm a prince.  I
know Deanie knows but tell her not to say a word.  I'd like to fit in."

"Sure your magesty."

"Bye Elizabeth Prudence."

"Bye Prince Nikky."

With that last laugh Nikolas left and Liz started busing the tables.  She was
about to pick up a plate when she dropped another.  She waited for the crash
to sound but nothing did and she opened her eyes and there was Lucky holding
the plate.
"You ought to be more careful with the dishes."

"Thanks for catching it."

"No problem."

Lucky stares at her for a second and breaths in her beauty.  His heart beats
ten times faster.  Liz fixates on his blue eyes and penetrates deep into his
soul searching for something anything.  Her mind raced as she quickly realized
she was staring and she cleared her throat to put the dishes in the kitchen.

"Where did you learn to catch like that Lucky?"

"My dad," he said as he followed her into the kitchen.

"Tell me about him," she insisted.

"Are we suddenly playing 20 questions Miss Webber."

"Why not, we have nothing better to do."

"Come on it's Valentine's Day there are better things to do."

Liz raised her eyebrows.  Lucky blushed when he realized what she thought he
might be implying.

Lucky quickly stated,"I didn't mean you know that kind of stuff I meant other
things."

"What do you mean by that kind of stuff."

"You know what I mean."

"Maybe I don't."

"You do to Elizabeth Webber."

With that he started to tickle her and she couldn't stop laughing.  She
slipped on the wet floor and landed right on top of Lucky.  She brushed her
hand up against his chest  and locked eyes with Lucky.  He felt the
electricity and cleared his throat.

"Umm sorry," Liz said as her face turned a shade of red.

"It's okay," said Lucky.  "But there is a way you can make it up to me."

"How?"

"By accompaning me to Deanie's party tonight.  I figured since I owe you an
evening out so what do you say?"

"I'd love to-"

"Great, I'll pick you up around 7 then."

"But I can't."

Lucky's heart just about stopped.  Why was Liz rejecting him?

"Umm why, might I ask."

"Someone else already asked me."

"Oh.  Well we can still meet up there."

"This time we will meet," Liz persisted.

"You got a deal Webber."

"Let's shake on it Spencer."

She held out her hand and he took it in his.  They shook hands for a long time
repeating over yeah and then Ruby yelled for Liz and Lucky to get back to
work.

"I'll see you there about 7:30."

"Great!" said Lucky.

"Well um, I guess I have to go back to work."

"I'll see you then."

"Bye."

Lucky watched as Liz went back to work.  He brushed off the remains of him
tickling her and he smirked as he watched her clumsy watrissing.  He couldn't
help but wonder who was taking Liz to Deanie's party but whoever it was he
better watch out because Lucky Spencer isn't about to give up Liz.

Later that night at the party 7:30 sharp.

Lucky was standing around a punch bowl, tapping his foot to the music, while
playing with a chip nervously waiting for Liz.  Then he saw her from across
the room.  Curls surrounding her face and the same red dress he saw hanging on
her door that morning only it looked better then he could ever imagine.  What
he didn't like hanging on her arm was his brother Nikolas.  Shocked Lucky
dropped his glass and spilled punch on the floor.  Liz noticed and bent down
to help him clean up.

"Hey clumsy," she teased.

"I'm clumsy, I thought that was you," Lucky teased back.

"Me clumsy, never," she laughed.

"You don't need to help me, I don't want you to ruin that pretty dress of
yours."

"It's okay Lucky.  I want to help.  So you don't think it's bad taste to wear
the same dress twice."

"The way it looks on you it demands it."

Liz blushed and hid her face while standing up.

"Thanks."

"So you and the Dark Prince huh."

"What!?!"

"Your date, Nikolas."

"Yeah he was so sweet.  He knew I was down so he invited me."

"Yeah how sweet taking Liz for me brother just like with Sarah." Lucky
mumbled.

"I'm sorry did you say something?" asked Liz.

"No just talking to myself.  Well you better get back to your date."

"Yeah, I guess I should.  She you around."

"And Liz?"

"What Lucky?" she said as she turend back around to face him.

"Save a dance for me will ya?"

"I'll put you at the top of my list."

Liz went back to Nik who had a group of girls surrounding him
She laughed to herself and went over to act flirty like his girlfriend so that
they would leave him alone.  Sure enough it worked.

"Thanks Liz, I don't think I could have handled them."

"No problem Nik."

"Good thing they don't know I'm a Prince huh."

"Yep."

"I milk cows at sunset."

"Yep.  Wait what did you say?"

"Your mind is someplace else isn't it."

"Yeah, it has to do with your brother."

"My brother?"  He's here?"

"Yeah, did you know he asked me here?"

"Really then why didn't you go with him?"

"Because a charming Prince asked me first."

"Liz you didn't need to go with me."

"I want to be here with you besides, to Lucky I'm just second best compared to
Sarah."

"Look I know me and my brother don't always get along but I know him and he's
a good judge of character when it comes to the enemy but not when it comes to
girls."

"Thanks Nik that makes me feel so much better."

"Did anyone ever tell you I love your sarcasm?"

"I just believe you did."

Liz laughed and linked arms with Nik.

Lucky viewing this from the opposite side of the room became hot tempered and
started to pace towards Liz but a pack of horny teenagers got in his way.  Liz
got lost in the crowd.  Earlier that evening everyone put their names into
bowls.  One for boys and one for girls.  Deanie was about to have a little fun
with her friends.

"Okay gather around everyone.  Were going to play 7 minutes in heavon.  Here's
how the game works.  I pick a name out of the boys side and one from the
girls.  Those two have 7 minutes in heavon together.  You got it?  Great okay
the girst girl is Liz Webber."

Liz was shocked beyond belief.  She just hoped the guy wouldn't be a dork or
Lucky.  In fact anyone but Lucky she just couldn't face that kind of pressure
with someone she really liked.  She prayed and prayed.

"Okay and the guy is Lucky Spencer."

Lucky stood their dumbfouded.  He was beyond shocked and realized how lucky he
was.

"I'm finally living up to my name," he muttered.

Liz and Lucky gave each other nervous glances as the audience cheered them
into the closet.

Impressions Chapter 4

Liz glanced over at Lucky.  He shugged and they slowly stepped into the
closet.  The door was closed behind them and they were put into utter
darkness.  The howls of the horny high schoolers are chanting them on but stop
to go get some more beer.  Lucky finds the light switch and turns it on.

"So Liz, weird night huh?"

"Yeah pretty strange."

"Look-," they both say at the same time.

"You first Liz."

"I'm sorry you got stuck in the closet with me."

"Why be sorry.  Your the only person at the party I would like to be in this
closet with."

"Really?"

"Yeah, really."  Lucky couldn't believe what he said.  It sounded
so right in his head.  He made it seem like he wanted to make out with her.

Liz couldn't believe it.  Lucky wanted to spend time with her.

"So what do you want to do."

"We can do anything you want."

"How about dress-up?"

"Excuse me?"

"I know it sounds kiddy and all but it'll kill the time."

"Seven minutes isn't that long."

"Lucky were at a party with several young nonsober teenages.  We won't be
coming out a least for another seven hours."

"Really?"

"Yeah, haven't you ever played this game before?"

"No, not really your my first.  I'm not sure but we're not playing it right
are we?"

"You catch on quick don't you Lucky."

"Toss me that hat."

They put on various coats and act silly.  Liz notices Lucky hats on funny so
she goes to fix it.

"Here let me fix your hat.  It needs to be a little slanted."

She brushes her hand along the brim of his hat and slants it slightly.  He
stares at her intently and when she looks into his eyes they just connect.
Lucky steps closer and takes her other hand in his.  He leans down and kisses
her.  A soft tender kiss.  They step back and smile while looking at the
floor.

"Hat's fixed."

"Yeah I guess it is.  Thanks for fixing it for me."

"No problem."

"So um.  How is school for you?  School is okay for me you know it's just kind
of rough sometimes-"

Lucky was cut off but Liz putting her lips up to his.  They kissed for another
moment and then they stopped.

"Thanks for shutting me up."

"No problem."

"Is that all you going to say."

"Who needs words."

(Author's note:  Due to the fact I'm really lazy plus I don't like extreme
mushy stuff the next line isn't meant to be insensitive just plotty.)  Liz and
Lucky continue to make-out.  His hand holding hers and his other aroud her
waist.  Some tougue is exchanged and Lucky trails kisses from Liz's jawline to
her neck.

Between kisses Lucky is able to get out a few breathless words.

"Liz, I just want to let you know I forgive you for coming here with Nik."

"What did you just say?"

She pulls away from him.

"I just said I forgive you for coming here with Nikolas."

"What do you mean forgive me?  Lucky I make my own decisions about who I date
and who I wanna be with.  No one else tells me what to do.  How can you
forgive me if I didn't do anything wrong?"

"It didn't mean it like that Elizabeth it just came out.  I just,  I don't
know."

"Well while your wondering I'm out of here."

Liz opens up the closet brushing her hair down sheepishly and runs to find
Nik.  The crowd awws and hoots.  Lucky runs after Liz but he's too late, a
crying Liz speeds off with Nik in his Jag.

"How stupid am I?  I finally get a chance with this great girl and I blow it.
I absolutely blew it."  Lucky walked him from Deanie's and decided to give Liz
a day or so to cool off.  He would talk to her on Monday.

Back to Liz and Nik

"Lucky's ego is bigger than this house, no this world, no the universe.  How
could he think that about me?  Is that all I am?  I mean I thought we were
having a good time but Mr. I Forgive You had to just go and ruin it."

"Liz I think you just need to cool down a bit here.  Lucky doesn't exactly
like me.  You going with me to this party was like Juliet not loving Romeo. He
was hurt."

"How can you two share the same genetics?  I just I guess your right.  This
totally changes things though Nik I mean we were having such a great time, I
just wanted everything to be perfect you know?  A closet doesn't seem perfect
though huh.  He just isn't all I imagined him to be.  I think I should just be
friends with him.  We have such a great time together as friends that's what
we should be."

"I know I shouldn't be doing this, but Lucky and you seem like the perfect
match.  Nothing can ever change your feelings Liz."

"I know but I just have to."

The whole weekend Lucky spent writing Liz a song.  He figured that was a good
way to get his feelings across.

Monday at school in the cafeteria.

"Elizabeth, hey, can we talk?"

"I don't know Lucky, how about later."

She walked passed him and sat down a table.  Lucky took out his guitar.

"I guess it's time for plan B."

Lucky goes up to Liz and kneels down on one knee.  She gives him a confused
look and he starts to sing the "Elizabeth" song.  After he is finished wild
applause comes through the cafeteria.  Then the appluase dies down and Lucky
sits at Liz's table.

"Okay you have my attention Spencer.  What do you want to talk about?"

"Can we go someplace private?"

"Sure why not?"

Liz and Lucky grab their things and head outside on a bench under a tree.

"So what do you want to talk about Lucky."

"About Saturday, I was a jerk Elizabeth and I'm sorry about what I said."

"I know but-"

"Wait let me finish.  My ego sometimes gets in the way and I want to apoligize
ten million times for what I said."

"This time I'll forgive you."

"Thanks Elizabeth.  You really mean a lot to me and I-"

"So we're friends right?"

"Friends? Uh yeah sure friends."

"Good."

They shake hands and feel the electricity go through them.  They look into
each other's eyes and Lucky finds himself lost in them.

"I gotta go Lucky."

"I'll call you Elizabeth."

"Great.  See ya."

"Bye"

Impressions Chapter 5

We find ourselves at another school weekend.
Friday, during the week Liz and Lucky have seen each other in the hallway but
whenever Lucky tried to talk to her she ends up avoiding conversation with
him.  She says she's not made but I think she still is, a little plus she is
trying to sort out her feelings for Lucky.  Liz walks to her locker in a daze
wearing a cute black skirt with slits up the side and a pink fuzzy sweater (I
just love clothes, anyway) Lucky notices her just starring at her locker so he
comes up behind her and says...

"Hey you!"

"Lucky, you scared me.  I gotta go bye."

"Wait!  Are you okay Liz, I mean everytime I've tried to talk to you since the
incident you've been kind of distant."

"No, of course not Lucky I'm totally fine.  It's not you it's just I have a
lot on my mind."

"How about unloading on me."

"I don't know Lucky, I-"

"Liz come on just talk with me.  How about I drive you home?"

"Lucky you can't drive.  Your not old enough."

"When has that ever stopped you."

"Good point, I was thinking rational there must be something wrong with me."

"Come on let me drive you home and maybe we can talk."

"Sure Spencer, only let me drive, you drive slower than my grams."

"What are you talking about?"  Lucky asks as they walk to his car that really
is his mom's but since no one is using it he figures he could borrow it.

"Lucky I saw you drive on the way to school.  Turtles were passing by."

"You were watching me?"

"No, no not at all I was just um glancing in that direction I mean I was
walking to school and I just saw you okay."  Liz stammered as Lucky held the
car door open for her.  "How chivalrous."

"Well, I'm a Spencer we are all gentlemen."

"But I'm driving."

"Humor me and get in, I promise I'll go at least the minimum speed limit."

"Okay but only b/c you promised."

"So, (Lucky starts the car) unload on me as if I'm Dr. Ruth."

"Dr. Ruth okay, well I know this might sound ridiculous but size really does
matter to me."

"What!?!"

"Come on Dr. Ruth your the leading sex doctor tell me if I should worry about
this one guy I made-out with that has small hands."

"Okay, okay I get the picture.  No doctor Ruth but how about Lucky."

"Okay, Dr. Lucky.  I'm totally fine so please quite worrying I can take car of
myself."

"Boy don't I know that."

She laughs and gives him the widest smile he loses concentration and almost
hits another car.

"Whoah, okay even I can drive better than that Spencer."

"I blame you."

"Really?  How did I cause that near fatal accident?"

"Your smile, it's brightness blinded me."

"Shut-up Lucky."  She said as she gave him a playful push.

"You know you are a bad influence on me."

"Don't I know it."

"How else do you think I got the idea to take the car?"

"I heard some pretty wild stories about you and your past so I think you came
up with it all on your own."

"Maybe, or your just a great inspiration."

"By the way thanks for singing that song.  Who wrote it?"

"I did."

"You did?  Wow Lucky I didn't even know you wrote songs.  That song was
fantastic."

"Your just saying that because it's about you."

"I'm sure I'm not the first girl you wrote a song for."

"Actually that was my first song that I've ever written.  I told you you were
a great inspiration."

"That's so sweet Lucky."

They pull up in front of Liz's house.

"Were here."

"Yeah, so do you want to come inside for a while."

"Sure."  Lucky smiles and turns on those cute dimples.

They walk inside and Liz asks if Lucky wants anything to drink.

"No thanks."

"Okay."

Awarked silence.

"So, deja vu huh."

"Yeah deja vu Liz."

"I was kind of hoping you and I-"

A knock comes from the door.

"I wonder who that is Lucky?"

Liz goes to get the door and Nik is standing there.

"Hey Liz, are you feeling better about the whole party thing?"

"Shh Nik, Lucky is here."

"Really?  That's great finally I can go have a conversation with you without
talking about you know who."

"You should go Nik, you might make him mad."

"Okay I'll be at the docks.  Call me if you need anything."

"Thanks, your such a great friend."

Nik leaves.

"Who was at the door?"

"Correct me if I say this wrong but your mother's other son."

"Great, a family reunion.  What did he want with you anyway?"

"He's my friend he came to check up on me."

"Remind me to talk to you about your choice of friends."

"Lucky, Nik is a really nice guy.  Without him I'd still be mooning over this
one guy that I had the hugest crush on."

"Who?"  Lucky asking nervously.

"No one that would interest you."

Flash to Nik walking along the docks and someone knocks into him by accident.

"Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't watching wear I was going," this myteriously girl said
in an English accent.

"No I should be the one apoligizing." said Nik noticing she had the most
brilliant blue eyes.

"Hi, I'm Alex Summers," she said as she extended her hand.

"Hi, Nikolas Cassidine."

"Nice to run into you Nikky."

"Just Nikolas thank you very much."

"Whatever.  Anyway Nikky, you don't happen to have a car do you because I'm
super late."

"Sure I'll give you ride if you really need one."

"Thanks."

They walk over to Nik's jag.

"Whoah nice car."

"Thanks, um it's actually my uncle's.  He's letting me borrow it.  So where
are we going exactly?"

"Oh I volunteer at the Port Charles Youth Center."

"Wow that's great of you to donate your time to young people."

"Thanks and all but can we please hurry."

"I'm going as fast as I can."

Nik continues to drive quickly to the park.

Back to Lucky and Liz.

"So pal, chum, amigo, buddy, what do you want to do because I'm so board?"

"That's the life of a Port Charles princess."

"Know anybody having a party?"

"Well actually I do."

"Come on what are we waiting for let's go."

"Liz, this is some hardcore partying as Chris Bankin's house are you sure you
want to go?"

"Chris, that guy with the really really dreamy smile?  Yes I want to go.
Besides I'm sure I've partyed harder than you."

"I don't doubt you there."

Jealousy was running deep within Lucky.  Liz had a thing for this Chris guy
with the cute dimples.  It made him so frustrated but for now he had to get
her to be good friends with him again.

"Come on princess let's go."

"Wait I have to change."

"How long."

"Just five minutes."

"Okay but make it a quick five minutes."

More like an hour.  Liz tried on outfit after outfit.  Each one more stunning
than the next.  Lucky couldn't help but want her.

Liz was thinking if she got her mind onto another guy she'd get over Lucky.
She could only be friends with him and nothing more.

Finally she came down in a simple black velvet dress with her hair up in
curls.

"How do I look?"

Lucky stood there speechless and grabbed a rose from the vase downstairs.

"Come on princess time to take you to the ball."

She took the rose and held her hand with his.  They stood there and glared at
each other for what seemed like an eternity.

"Elizabeth," Lucky whispered stepping closer.

"Lucky," Liz whispered leaning in.
